Isco leaves Spain’s friendly with suspected injury

Could it get any worse for Madrid?

Just one day after Real Madrid announced that Gareth Bale sufferes yet another injury, midfielder Isco Alarcon left Spain’s friendly against Costa Rica after a brutal tackle which left him on the ground for quite some time. He tried to stay on the pitch afterwards but ended up asking Julen Lopetegi to take him out of the game.

Apparently, Isco could just have a big knock. There’s no twisting involved on the play and it doesn’t seem as serious as it could have been, but Real Madrid visit Atletico de Madrid on Saturday 18th and Isco could be considered questionable for said game.

Reports from Spain published today that Keylor Navas is doubtful for that game as well even though it seemed as he was going to be able to defend the team’s goal in the Madrid Derby. Coach Zinedine Zidane wanted to have both Bale and Navas back for the game but now that doesn’t seem very likely.
