Sergio Ramos scored a brace for Spain in the friendly match they played against Russia this Tuesday. Real Madrid’s captain will now have three days to prepare for the crucial Madrid Derby against Atletico. Ramos was interviewed after the game and shared some words about the reports suggesting that Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave the club next summer.
“You should ask him about it,” said Ramos. The defender did have some words to say about yet another rumor, the one placing goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in the Spanish capital.
“Those things are usually sorted out in summer. He’s a solid goalkeeper who’s still young and has still a lot of potential. We’ll see what happens. I signed for Real Madrid when I was 19 years old and you make huge improvements over the first two or three years, you’ve got to be patient and that’s what makes you improve,” said Ramos.
A report from MARCA published this Tuesday suggested that Los Blancos wanted to sign Kepa this very same winter instead of waiting until the summer to add the goalkeeper to the roster.
