Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane talked to the press ahead of the Madrid Derby against Atletico de Madrid and updated Gareth Bale’s condition after the club announced that the Welsh star picked up yet another injury last week.

"It is not a big problem, I hope next week he is fully recovered and good for the rest of the season,” said Zidane. “He will be back better than ever,” he added.

The French coach also revealed that Carvajal will be available this Saturday after missing around two months with a rare pericarditis.

"Dani after a long time is ready, it was better to stay here during the break to prepare for this game,” explained Zidane.

Goalkeeper Keylor Navas won’t be available though. The Costa Rican player completed the very first portion of Friday’s training session with his teammates but has not recovered in time to feature.

“Keylor is better every day, already training with us. But I can’t say when he will play. I want him at 150%[sic] , so we'll see day by day,” said Zidane.

Real’s coach confirmed that Modric will be ready to go.
