Real Madrid confirmed that Spanish defender Sergio Ramos broke his nose during the 0-0 draw against Atletico de Madrid in a very controversial play which should have ended in a penalty in favor of Los Blancos.

All things considered, it looks like Ramos should be considered questionable for the Champions League match against APOEL.
The good news for coach Zinedine Zidane is that Dani Carvajal completed a good performance and looks ready to play again, something which should give the French coach more margin to play Nacho while Ramos isn’t available.
Real Madrid are 10 points behind Barcelona in the La Liga table after this draw and might as well give up on the race for the title after just 12 matches played. La Liga will start using the VAR next season and some Real Madrid fans have every right to think that this match could’ve ended differently with that system.
