Date and time set for El Clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona

It’s a must-win for Real Madrid.

It’s official. Barcelona will visit Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday, December 23rd at 13:00 CET, 07:00am EST, La Liga confirmed today.

This will be a crucial game for Real Madrid knowing that they are already eight points behind Barcelona in the race for La Liga title, and while Los Blancos will surely be hoping that Barça drop some points until they meet in late December, they will also have to take care of business first.

Things have changed quite a lot since the last time these two teams met in the Spanish Super Cup. Real Madrid emerged victorious out of that battle and dominated Barcelona over two legs, even raising doubts about Barcelona’s ability of competing for titles with Madrid this season.

Either way, Carvajal, Kovacic and Bale should be available soon, so Zidane and his coaching staff will be looking forward to gaining some confidence and momentum ahead of that clash.
