Real Madrid managed to beat APOEL 0-6 and sent a message. Both Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema scored a brace and bounced back from their disappointing start to the season, but can they keep it going?

  1. Ronaldo and Benzema finally shine. Sure, it was APOEL, but they scored two goals apiece and showed that they can still find the back of the net. They might just need to build some confidence, so it’d be nice for Madrid if they could keep their momentum going.
  2. Isco is not the problem. Some fans and analysts suggested that Isco’s absence was the main reason why Madrid won this game 0-6. That’s just silly. Isco has been playing out of his mind for almost a year now and he’s arguably been one of the top three players for Madrid this season.
  3. Carvajal’s return is huge for Los Blancos. He is relentless and contributes both offensively and defensively. Still, Real Madrid are relying too much on him and another injury would be devastating, so the departure of Danilo might not have been what Real Madrid needed.
