Spanish attacker Marco Asensio will not be available when Real Madrid host Malaga this Saturday as he missed the second straight training session with muscle fatigue. On the other hand, Gareth Bale rejoined the squad in training but might need some more sessions before being able to play.

Zinedine Zidane will talk to the press right after Friday’s training session and will almost certainly reveal whether players like Bale or Kovacic are finally available or not. Goalkeeper Keylor Navas is expected to make his return to the team as well after missing the last few games with another muscle injury.

Real Madrid host Malaga and then they will play the return leg of the Copa del Rey tie against Fuenlabrada, a match which Zidane will use to give his starters some rest in order to have them completely ready for the tougher games ahead. All things considered, Zidane should not be expected to make rotations against Malaga.
