Real Madrid published the squad list for December’s FIFA Club World Cup which will take place in Abu Dhabi.

Goalkeepers: Keylor, Casilla, Moha.

Defenders: Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Theo, Achraf,

Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Lucas Vázquez, Marcos Llorente, Asensio, Isco, Kovacic, Ceballos.

Attackers: Cristiano, Benzema, Bale, Mayoral.

Jesus Vallejo was not included on the team’s list as Real Madrid can only name 23 players. Still, it’s a bit shocking to see that right now he’s behind Achraf in the rotation, especially considering that Nacho can play on the right wing. Vallejo has completed decent performances when given the chance but he can’t stay healthy enough to be consistent, so that’s possibly the reason why Zidane decided to keep him out of the list.

Los Blancos are the heavy favorites to win the competition as it always happens with European clubs. Still, Madrid have been struggling lately and they’ll have to take care of business.
