Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane spoke in press conference a day ahead of Real Madrid’s home game against Las Palmas and updated the condition of key starters Dani Carvajal and Gareth Bale, who have been out of the squad for the last month.
"We're happy that both of them have returned. We're still without Kovacic, he isn't ready yet but I'm sure he'll be back and involved next week. Dani is doing well, he's training as usual. Gareth has now completed a second training session with the group and the process is following its normal course. We're happy to have both of them with us. They won't feature in the squad list. After having been out for a long time, we have to give them that calmness they need. Bale won't be joining up with his national team either. They have completed two training sessions and will stay back and work with us,” said Zidane.
It looks like both players could be ready for Real Madrid’s next match in La Liga, which happens to be a crucial Madrid Derby in the new Wanda Metropolitano against Atletico de Madrid.
