Not much has been said about James Rodriguez’s season with Bayern Munich. The Colombian midfielder was sent to the German side on a loan deal this past summer and will stay there at least until the summer of 2019, when Bayern will have to make a decision about whether they want to sign him on a permanent deal or not. James himself said that he is not thinking about making his return to Real Madrid right now.
“I don’t know anything about it, all I’m thinking of is Bayern Munich. I’m playing well and I’m happy with Bayern,” said the midfielder.
Some Real Madrid fans and football analysts around the world believe that Real Madrid don’t have a deep squad this season because they let James and Morata go, but Rodriguez soon dismissed that talk.
“I think they have very good players to compete well this season, they will start playing better soon because we’re talking about a big club with big players capable of turning things around. I left good teammates and friends in Madrid and I watch their games when I can. I am still in touch with Ramos, Benzema and Marcelo,” revealed James.
