FIFA appointed Mexican referee Cesar Ramos as the man in charge of Saturday’s FIFA Club World Cup Final between Real Madrid and Gremio. Per Realmadrid.com.
César Ramos is set to referee the Club World Cup final between Real Madrid and Gremio at the Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi (Saturday, 6:00pm CET).
The Mexican official has already taken charge of a game in the tournament, the second-round clash between Al Jazira and Urawa Red Diamonds, which finished 1-0 to the champions of the United Arab Emirates to decide Real Madrid's semi-final opposition.
Real Madrid will be the heavy favorites to beat Gremio but the very same thing happened last Wednesday and they needed a late goal by Gareth Bale to avoid playing an ET. The VAR system will be used once again and it provided some controversy in the Semifinal against Al Jazira.
The Final will be played at 18:00 CET this Saturday.
