Lyon star Nabil Fekir is shining in the French Ligue 1 alongside former Real Madrid striker Mariano Diaz. Fekir has become the leader of his team and it seems that a good amount of clubs have interest in the 24-year-old attacking midfielder. Fekir spoke with Telefoot in an interview and mentioned Real Madrid when he was asked about his future.

“There’s Spain with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico, all three of those are big clubs. United, City and Arsenal are also big in Englad, but I’m not thinking about any club in particular,” said Fekir.

While it’s clear that it’d be premature to label Fekir as a target for Real Madrid, his participation in the upcoming FIFA World Cup could be crucial for his future. If he manages to keep playing well with Lyon, Fekir could be starting for France and that would bring many offers for him next summer.
