Real Madrid and Barcelona will clash in a decisive El Clasico this next Saturday, a match which could very well decide the race for La Liga title if Los Blancos can’t beat Barça at the Bernabeu. Furthermore, it appears that these two teams will also fight for the signing of Atletico de Madrid star Antoine Griezmann, according to L’Equipe. The French newspaper reports that even though Barça have the edge in the negotiations, Real Madrid will also try to sign the striker next summer.

It looks like Madrid will look to upgrade the striker position right after the end of this season and players like Griezmann could be on their list. Apparently, the attacker would like to play for Zinedine Zidane, arguably the best Frenchman to ever play the game.

Atletico would rather sell Griezmann to Barcelona or any other club, though, so Florentino Perez and the board will have to work hard if they want the French attacker on their roster.
