Cristiano Ronaldo unable to train with the team three days ahead of El Clasico against Barcelona

He still should be more than ready to play.

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t been training with the squad for the last few days even though the team will be facing Barcelona in a decisive El Clasico next Saturday. The Portuguese attacker played the Club World Cup Final against Gremio without any issues but it seems that he is feeling some kind of discomfort. Real Madrid have not published a medical report on Ronaldo, so it’s fair to assume that the star should be ready to play next Saturday.

Benzema completed Wednesday’s training session even though he had been working by himself earlier this week.

Cristiano Ronaldo will surely try to train with his teammates this Thursday.

There are no injured players on Real’s roster right now so coach Zinedine Zidane will have plenty of options to choose from when Barcelona visit the Bernabeu. Real Madrid need the three points if they want to compete for the La Liga title.
