Ernesto Valverde’s triumphant second half at the Bernabeu on Saturday put a sword through Real Madrid’s domestic title hopes. We’ve dissected it as far as we can with tactical reviews, videos, and podcasts. It was chaotic, open, and schematically confusing to cope with. But here’s to hope. Here’s to celebrating all the achievements of 2017, and here’s to a season that’s still alive and full of unopened gifts.
