Real Madrid are in trouble. Not only they’re hosting a good Sevilla team, they’ll do it without Sergio Ramos, Varane, Carvajal, Casemiro and Gareth Bale. Players like Achraf, Nacho, Vallejo or Kovacic will have to step up and show that they belong in what could be a decisive game for Los Blancos, given that they are eight points behind Barcelona in La Liga table.

Zidane’s men lost a good chance of cutting Barcelona’s lead to six points last weekend as they drew the match against Athletic Bilbao. They also lost Ramos, Casemiro and Carvajal due to suspensions in that game and that could cost Madrid.

Either way, Los Blancos need to gain some momentum as they will play the FIFA Club World Cup and a crucial El Clasico against Barcelona in La Liga later this month. The team has been struggling lately but if the strikers find their groove Madrid will become the powerhouse team who won the double last season.
