Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo did not train with the squad on Monday as he stayed working on the gym just two days ahead of Madrid's crucial Champions League match against Napoli. However, the Portuguese attacker has apparently recovered from his small physical problems and completed Tuesday's session with his teammates.
Coach Zinedine Zidane has the whole roster at his disposal but Gareth Bale is not expected to be included in the squad list as he just recovered from a fairly serious ankle injury. Bale will have to wait a bit more but he will surely make his return to the lineup soon enough.
Reports from Spain suggest that Zidane will go back to the 4-3-3 formation which was so successful early in the season. It should feature Casemiro, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos in the midfield, so Zidane's only choice will come at who plays alongside Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo upfront. James, Isco and Lucas Vazquez are fighting for one starting spot.
