Real Madrid just published their starting XI for the upcoming match against SSC Napoli in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League's Round of 16.

Real Madrid: Keylor Navas; Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo; Casemiro, Kroos, Modric, James, Ronaldo, Benzema.

Napoli: (To Be Confirmed) Reina, Hysaj, Koulibaly, Albiol, Ghoulam, Zieliński, Diawara, Hamšík, Callejón, Mertens, Insigne.

As initially expected, coach Zinedine Zidane has decided to use the 4-3-3 formation with Casemiro, Kroos and Modric in the midfield after experimenting several times with a three-man defensive line over the last couple of weeks. Madrid did not complete very good performances with that new formation and they should be capable of performing well again now that Zidane has deployed his trademark lineup on the pitch.

It will be crucial for Madrid to dominate the tempo of the game as Napoli will surely try to score a valuable away goal that would give them a good chance to go through if Madrid struggle at San Paolo.
