Boy Who Assisted Chapecoense Rescuers Meets His Real Madrid Idols

Johan Alexis Ramírez, El Niño Ángel, fulfills a dream.

In the darkness of the tragic Chapecoense crash, a bright light in Johan Alexis Ramírez - dubbed El Niño Ángel (the Angel boy) - stood out when he guided rescue teams to the site of the disaster. In a classy move by Real Madrid, Johan was invited to Real Madrid city to hang out and take pictures with a variety of Real Madrid’s stars.

At the end of it all, he got a signed ball and a signed shirt from James Rodríguez, something he was clearly thrilled with:

James represents all Colombians. It’s very emotional and something very nice for me. This shirt is a very nice gift that I will have for a lifetime, it's a pleasure for me.

While this is an event that will surely pass the minds of most Madridistas after a couple days, one cannot underestimate what this moment might mean to Johan and the positive consequences of small acts of kindness.
