Very interesting match for Real Madrid, as the team will try to bounce back from their loss against Valencia. Furthermore, Barcelona visit Atletico de Madrid this Sunday as well, meaning that this matchday could indeed be crucial for the title.

Sevilla managed to beat Betis on Saturday and are now even with Real Madrid in the table. Many analysts and fans believe that Sampaoli's team will not compete for the title, but right now they are playing at a very high level and should be considered as candidates.

Gareth Bale will most likely return to the starting lineup against Villarreal. The Welshman recovered from his ankle injury a week ago and came off the bench on the last two games, but Zidane said during the pre-match press conference that he is now 100% ready to go. It will be crucial for Madrid to complete a solid performance and to have some firepower upfront, something they didn't have last Wednesday.
