Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcon does not want to negotiate a contract extension with the club, according to reports coming from Spain. MARCA, AS and TV show El Chiringuito de Jugones indicate the Spanish midfielder is not happy about his current role with the club and also suggest that Isco has refused to negotiate said extension.
If that's true, Isco could be leaving the club in the summer of 2018 as a free agent unless Madrid decide to sell him this summer. The midfielder could still stay in the Spanish capital if coach Zinedine Zidane and the board prove that he can be a regular starter in the club.
Isco joined Real Madrid in 2013 and has always been a key reserve for Ancelotti, Benitez and Zidane alike. The midfielder has shown plenty of potential coming off the bench, so it would be tough for the club to let him go. He will turn 25 years old next April.
