The race for La Liga is getting tighter and tighter, with Barcelona currently enjoying a one-point lead although Madrid could erase it if they win their match at hand. But first things first, and Zidane's men host Betis at the Bernabeu in what should be a manageable game which could allow Zidane to make some rotations and keep his squad fresh. Players like James, Isco, Morata or Mateo Kovacic have earned their minutes so far and Zidane could reward them this night.

Betis are currently in a safe spot and it looks like they will avoid relegation. However, it's clear that they're not a very dangerous team and Madrid should definitely prevail at the Bernabeu.

Gareth Bale will miss the game and other players like Karim Benzema or Luka Modric could get some rest as well. Real Madrid will visit San Mames next week and they'll need to have fresh legs against a good Athletic Bilbao side.
