The decisive El Clasico between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will be played on April 23rd at the Santiago Bernabeu, La Liga confirmed. The match will kick off at 20:45 CET, 02:45pm EST.

This match could very well decide the race for La Liga title, as both teams are currently very close in the table with Madrid still having one game at hand against Celta de Vigo at Balaidos.

Real Madrid managed to get a good 1-1 draw when they visited the Camp Nou last December. Sergio Ramos scored the equaliser late in the game and that gave Los Blancos a valuable point after a solid performance. This means that Barcelona will need a 2-2 draw or an away win at the Bernabeu if they want to have a potential tie-breaker lead if both teams finish even on points when La Liga ends.

It will be very important for coach Zinedine Zidane to manage his squad properly before that game as Madrid will also have to face Bayern Munich next month.
