Isco's current contract with Real Madrid will expire in the summer of 2018 and FC Barcelona are reportedly offering the Spanish midfielder €20 million if he is willing to wait until then to sign for Barça as a free agent, according to RAC1.
The player appears to be happy in the Spanish capital but his lack of relevant minutes might bring his career as a Real Madrid player to an end. Apparently, the club and Isco himself have been trying to sign an extension for quite some time, although the player wants to make sure he is given the role he wants. With Luka Modric aging, that could happen sooner than he thinks, but maybe not soon enough for him to sign that said extension.
Isco definitely has the potential to be a star in European football and Madrid simply can't afford to lose him to such a big opponent like Barcelona. All eyes will be on Florentino Perez this summer to see if he manages to sign the midfielder to an extension.
