Real Madrid travel to Stadio San Paolo for their Champions League Round of 16 second leg tie against Napoli. Los Merengues lead the tie 3-1 on aggregate thanks to a stunning strike from Casemiro, and goals from Karim Benzema and Toni Kroos.

The concern for Real will be if Napoli were to score early on in the second leg, having taken the lead in the original tie and thus securing an away goal.

However, should Real take the lead tomorrow night, the tie should be all but over. The timely returns of Cristiano (who had a slight niggle) and Gareth Bale - available after missing Saturday’s 4-1 win at Eibar through suspension, should boost confidence.

Real Madrid are currently unbeaten in their past 11 Champions League matches, and should they avoid defeat in Naples, it would be their longest run without defeat in European competition.

That said, Napoli have lost just one of their 10 home games in the Champions League.

Dries Martens returns for Napoli, who have lost twice in their four games since the first leg in Madrid.

Real Madrid performed much better at the weekend, after drawing at home to Las Palmas and struggling past Villarreal before, as well as succumbing to defeat away at Valencia.

Real will need to be disciplined and not afford Napoli the gaps and time on the ball that they have allowed in recent matches. But should Real take the lead, you’d think they should have enough to secure a play in the next round of the Champions League.
