Isco hints at potential contract extension with Real Madrid

The Spanish midfielder wants to play more minutes, though.

Isco spoke briefly after Real Madrid's late 2-3 win against Sporting Gijon, a match where he scored a brace to give the team the three points.

"I always said that I want to stay here for many more years but I don't know why people get surprised about me wanting to play more minutes. I wouldn't say that if I didn't think I deserve it but press usually try to sell their rumors. I've always said that I want to say here for many, many years I believe that the club and I will make the right decision," said Isco. "I'm at the world's best club and I want to stay here, I feel privileged for being here and I hope I can stay for a long time."

Real Madrid will most definitely try to extend Isco's contract after what he did today. He's been performing very well and could possibly even deserve a bigger role on this team, although coach Zinedine Zidane seems reluctant to give him minutes as a starter when Casemiro, Modric and Kroos are all healthy.
