Every game now is like a cup final for us and that's how we're approaching them. I'm happy with the three points and we now have to turn our attentions to Saturday's derby. We put in a great performance in which we took our eye off the ball for 10 minutes, but overall we played very well.
I'm pleased with the minutes I got, what I was able to offer the team and above all with the win. I try to give my all in training and you've got to always be ready for whenever your opportunity comes along. I try to perform to my best and do my bit for the team.
In the first 20 minutes we were fantastic and we scored three goals. They then scored twice from two one-off chances and that made things difficult for us. After the break we pushed forward again and made it 4-2 to us.
Throughout the whole season we've shown that regardless of who plays, we perform well and win the games, that's what's at the heart of this squad. We head into the derby in fine shape and with real confidence after these two wins following the international break. We are raring to treat our fans to a win.
(On Morata): He puts his all into training every single day. He's playing for the club of his dreams and every time he takes to the pitch he displays all of his desire. We're delighted to have Álvaro here.
We made the sort of start that we had discussed and started very strongly and quickly got our noses in front. I think that we performed well and perhaps at 3-0 we eased off a bit, which is something that we couldn't afford to do. Things were more relaxed for us in the second half and we dominated.
We were in front very early, but were unable to keep a clean sheet, which was very important for us. We come away with the three points, which is the positive. Matches like that aren’t easy and the whole team was very involved, something which is very important in such a long season.
(On the upcoming derby): We’re going into the game in good shape after a good run of wins. Psychologically the team feels good and it's a derby that everyone wants to play in. We’re going into it at a good time and we want to win.
It was a very tough game, but the most important thing is that we took the three points. We suffered from lack of concentration, we can’t let in those goals, especially away from home. We started well, then they almost levelled it up, but we played well to get the three points. We have to learn from our mistakes, but it’s difficult to play here because they press you with real aggression.
The key was the first half. In the first 30 minutes we started very well, getting three goals and although they got two goals back we reacted well and we put in a good performance. We’re happy with the victory, we have to carry on like this. Now it's time to rest and think about the game against Atlético. We have a very difficult April, but that's football.
Apart from Varane, who was unlucky, we are all fit and can play. We have shown that without some players we can still win. We have to work hard and continue on like this.
At Real Madrid it’s difficult to play every game. It is important for me to be ready, to enjoy it and to take advantage of my opportunities. I'm at Real Madrid and it's impossible to play every game, I just wait for my chances.
