Real Madrid just published their starting lineup for the upcoming Madrid Derby against Atletico de Madrid.
Real Madrid starting XI: Keylor Navas, Dani Carvajal, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo, Casemiro, Modric, Kroos, Bale, Ronaldo, Benzema.
Atletico de Madrid starting XI: Oblak, Juanfran, Godin, Savic, Filipe Luis, Koke, Gabi, Saul, Carrasco, Griezmann, Torres.
As initially expected, coach Zinedine Zidane has decided to play it safe and start Casemiro in the midfield. The Brazilian player completed a brilliant performance in the Champions League Final against this very same team and his physical presence could be needed, although it's true that Isco and his playmaking skills will be waiting for a chance on the bench in case Zidane decides to change the course of the game and go for a more attacking-minded style.
Real Madrid need to play with confidence but at the same time they must take Atletico de Madrid very seriously, as they have improved quite a lot since Los Blancos beat them 0-3 at the Calderon last November.
