Real Madrid just published their starting lineup for the upcoming match against Atletico Madrid, which will be the first leg of the Champions League semifinals.

Real Madrid starting XI: Navas; Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo; Kroos, Casemiro, Modrić; Isco, Benzema, Ronaldo.

Atletico Madrid starting XI: Oblak; Hernández, Godín, Savić, Filipe Luís; Ñíguez, Koke, Gabi, Carrasco; Griezmann, Gameiro.

It's time for Real Madrid to prove that their neighbors just can't beat them in the Champions League. Diego Simeone's men have given Madrid all kinds of headaches over the last few seasons but Los Blancos have dominated Atletico in the European competition, winning two Champions League Finals and beating them over two legs two seasons ago.

As always, it will be very important for Madrid to play a good defensive game. Away goals are extremely valuable in this competition so Atletico will surely come out trying to disrupt Madrid's defense in order to enjoy a more manageable game at the Vicente Calderon next week.
