Real Madrid star Gareth Bale, who just recovered from a serious ankle injury, said that he would understand if he comes off the bench against Juventus in the 2017 Champions League Final.

"I wouldn't be disappointed if it happens, because we're playing the Final. I'm trying my best to be ready for the game and we will help each other no matter who starts because we only care about the team," said Bale.

Most reports from Spain suggest that the winger will indeed be a reserve this Saturday even though the Final will be played in his hometown of Cardiff. If that happens, Isco will be the one starting.

"Isco is a fantastic player and he has performed very well over the last few weeks. I am really happy for him because he's helping the team a lot. We only care about winning this Final," said Bale about Isco.

"This one will be a very special game for me but right now we have to be focused on the game itself", finished the winger.
