It's clear that Florentino Perez and the rest of the board at Real Madrid want to sign Kylian Mbappe. According to L'Equipe, coach Zinedine Zidane met the promising striker and told him that he will have more than enough minutes next season as Real Madrid are planning to part ways with "one star."

In the midst of the rumors around Cristiano Ronaldo's potential departure, this is shocking and appears to confirm that the Portuguese star might indeed be on his way out of the club.

Mbappe is still 18 years old and rightfully wants to be relevant next season to continue his development as a player. Furthermore, he'd like to feature in the 2018 FIFA World Cup and he knows that he needs to be relevant to participate. If L'Equipe's report is accurate, Mbappe might indeed be on his way to the Spanish capital, becoming the galactico signing Florentino Perez wanted all along.
