AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma updated his Instagram account and revealed that he will negotiate a contract extension with the Italian club right after the U21 Euro.
This doesn't mean he has reached an agreement with the club, but it certainly seems that the goalkeeper is willing to stay with Milan and sign a new deal.
Donnarumma's current contract expires in 2018 and his agent Mino Raiola said a few weeks ago that they were not going to sign a new deal with Milan. However, this might have been Raiola's plan to improve Milan's original offer.
The goalkeeper was rumored to be on Real Madrid's radar but if he signs an extension Los Blancos might give up on him right now knowing that they would probably need to pay at least €50 million to sign Donnarumma away from Milan.
It will be interesting to see if the promising keeper finally stays with Milan past this summer.
