This is it, Real Madrid's last game of the 2016/17 season and a chance to win back-to-back Champions League titles, something no club has achieved since UEFA transformed the competition in 1992.
Zinedine Zidane's men have proved that they deserve this chance by knocking out huge teams like Bayern Munich or Atletico de Madrid while Juventus dismantled Barcelona in the Quarterfinals.
Real Madrid will need to complete a very solid performance if they want to win the European title. Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has built an impressive defensive system and they also have the ability to score and dominate the match.
It's not easy to point out three specific things Real Madrid must take care of, but these three will definitely increase their chances.
- Bale can change the game coming off the bench. The Welsh star is not healthy enough to start and that's precisely why Isco will most likely be the one on Real Madrid's starting XI. However, expect Bale to come off the bench during the second half and his presence should shake things up and completely change the course of the Final. Real must try to stay in the game until Bale is ready to go and then they should try to get him involved as often as possible.
- Set pieces will be crucial. Juventus are a dangerous team with Chiellini, Barzagli and Bonucci all trying to score off set pieces. Ramos, Varane and Casemiro will try to stay with them, something which could leave Mandzukic and Khedira with Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema. Real Madrid have been very dominant attacking set pieces this season but this time they should focus on Juventus' tall squad.
- Asensio off the bench should be a very dangerous weapon as well. The young attacking midfielder has earned a chance to at least play some minutes tonight. He will be Real Madrid's most useful weapon on the bench if Zidane feels like he needs to change the match. It will be very interesting to see what the French manager does with his substitutions tonight as he simply has to take advantage of Real's depth.
