Isco: "I want to sign my extension soon, there's no better club"

The midfielder all but confirmed he will be signing a new deal soon.

Isco Alarcon got a place in the starting XI for the Champions League Final against Juventus and confirmed that he wants to stay with the club right after the final whistle.

"I want to sign my contract extension soon, there's no better club than Real Madrid," said the midfielder to Antena 3 after the game. "We had an unbelievable season and this is an unbelievable team as well, we made history," he added.

Isco's current deal with Real Madrid expires in 2018 but it definitely looks like he will reach an agreement with the club soon enough. Reports from Spain indicate that Madrid will announce his extension in the upcoming weeks.

The midfielder completed a brilliant season and was key in the race for La Liga title, earning his spot in the lineup for tonight's game against Juventus and quite possibly a very important role next season. While he is not an undisputed starter if every player is healthy, he proved that he can be trusted when needed.
