Ceballos: “There's no greater honour than playing for Real Madrid”

Real Madrid unveiled Dani Ceballos at the Santiago Bernabeu this Thursday and the midfield was in awe throughout the entire event. He explained that Florentino Perez himself called to tell him about Real’s interest.

About his debut season, Ceballos made it clear that he knows he’ll be fighting for a spot in the XI.

“I am a young player, thrilled to be here and I'm going to enjoy learning from the likes of Modric and Kroos and form part of this club's history”.

“We have got some great players. I am a young player ready to learn and work hard to show Zidane that I'm ready to play here.”

Ceballos also said that he is comfortable playing deep, “controlling the tempo of the game” but that he is also ready to play wherever Zidane requires him to.
