Madridistas were finally shown their team’s 3rd kit for the upcoming season. As seen in the picture below, the jersey features a unique checkered pattern with a color that compliments the light blue of Madrid’s home kits.

Unlike the other 2 uniforms Real Madrid will be wearing next season, this particular kit was designed by fans. The process featured 100 submitted designs being reviewed and critiqued by members of the board and former players.
This may not be your favorite design for a 3rd kit, but it is interesting, and a marked improvement over the hideous 3rd kit of last season that featured the purple hoops around the shoulders.
