Barcelona could try to sign Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe this summer if Neymar signs for Paris Saint-Germain as expected, according to Le Parisien. The latest reports from Spain suggested that Real Madrid had the edge over Manchester City in the battle for the young and promising striker, but Barcelona could be earning close to €220 million if the Neymar deal with PSG gets done.
Monaco’s vice-president denied the reports suggesting that the club had an agreement with Real Madrid in place, so this is not going to be solved quickly.
Mbappe is arguably the most coveted player in the world of football right now and it won’t be easy for Madrid to sign him. Coach Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo could play a crucial role in the battle for his signing and Madrid will most definitely try their very best to add his talents to an already very talented squad. Fans will need to be patient.
