FC Barcelona published their squad list for Sunday’s El Clásico —22:00 CET, Camp Nou— against Real Madrid, which will be the first leg of the Spanish Supercup between these two teams. The return leg will be played at the Santiago Bernabéu next Wednesday.
Barcelona’s squad list: Ter Stegen, Cillessen, Nélson Semedo, Piqué, Rakitic, Sergio, Denis Suárez, Andrés Iniesta, Suárez, Messi, Mascherano, Deulofeu, Paco Alcácer, Jordi Alba, Digne, Sergi Roberto, Aleix Vidal and Umtiti.
Neither Thomas Vermaelen nor Rafinha is on the list as they are both injured. Other than that, Andrés Iniesta will be available after missing some training sessions throughout the week.
Real Madrid are expected to release their own squad list tomorrow, right before their trip to Barcelona. Cristiano Ronaldo will most likely start his first game after the summer even though he has been training with the rest of the team just for one week. He came off the bench during Real’s 2-1 win against Manchester United.
