Monaco wonder kid Kylian Mbappe might need to stay with Monaco this summer as Real Madrid reportedly dropped their interest while his potential signing for PSG stalled, according to L’Equipe.

It won’t be easy for Mbappe to repeat the success he had last season as Monaco sold most of their stars like Mendy and Bakayoko. On the other hand, PSG improved their squad quite dramatically by acquiring Neymar, so it would be a tremendous failure for Emery and the rest of the PSG squad to lose the Ligue1 title the way they lost it to Monaco last season.

It looked as if Real Madrid were ready to sign Mbappe all summer long but that doesn’t seem very likely now. Apparently, Los Blancos will not make a move for the young attacker unless one player from the BBC of Benzema, Ronaldo or Bale leaves the squad.

If Mbappe stays with Monaco this summer, expect Madrid trying to sign him next year.
