FC Barcelona just published their squad list to face Real Madrid this Wednesday —23:00 CET— at the Santiago Bernabeu in what will be the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup Final.
Ter Stegen, Cillessen, Semedo, Piqué, Rakitic, Sergio, Denis Suárez, Suárez, Messi, Mascherano, Deulofeu, Paco Alcácer, Jordi Alba, Digne, Sergi Roberto, André Gomes, Aleix Vidal, Umtiti and Aleñá.
Andrés Iniesta, Thomas Vermaelen and Rafinha were not included on the list as they are injured, while Arda Turan, Douglas, Marlon, Samper and Munir got left out by coach Ernesto Valverde.
Real Madrid will publish their own squad list on Wednesday morning but no surprises are expected. Jesús Vallejo is Madrid’s only injured player and Cristiano Ronaldo won’t be available because of the suspension he is now facing after pushing the referee during the first leg of the Super Cup.
Los Blancos need to keep their 1-3 lead to conquer the title, meaning that Barcelona will need a 0-3 away victory at least if they want to overcome their current deficit.
