He should win it, right?

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has been included in FIFA’s The Best shortlist to win the Coach of the Year award after conquering the 12th Champions League title for Real Madrid while also winning La Liga.

With those two trophies, it’s clear that Zidane should be considered as the heavy favorite to win said award beating other nominees like Massimiliano Allegri, Leonardo Jardim or Carlo Ancelotti.

Zidane has won as many titles —7— as he’s lost games ever since he signed his contract and became Madrid’s coach. That achievement speaks for itself and clearly places him as one of the greatest coaches in Real Madrid history even though he’s been in charge for just one year and a half.

Cristiano Ronaldo is also expected to make The Best shortlist to win the Player of the Year award and he is also considered the heavy favorite to win it, just like his coach Zinedine Zidane. That’s how good Real Madrid’s season was.
