According to reports coming out of Paris, Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe is ready to leave Monaco during this summer’s transfer window. The report is timely given that Real Madrid have indeed been flirting with Mbappe all summer.

Mbappe is without a doubt one of the most coveted players in world football right now. He led Monaco to the Champions League semifinals last year and frustrated some of the world’s best defensive lines in the process. He impressed everyone at an age where most players are simply trying to break into the first team lineup. His talent and youth brought the world’s best clubs to Monaco’s doorstep.

The saga will likely come down to who is willing to pay more between Real and Barcelona. Reports earlier this week suggest that Barcelona is indeed interested in Mbappe. If Neymar is sold to PSG this coming week, they will have money burning a hole in their pocket. Monaco will be presented with a plethora of offers for Mbappe — now Real just have to make the most appealing one.
