Isco Alarcon was taken off at half-time during Real Madrid’s home match against Valencia and the reason wasn’t a technical decision. Reports from Spain indicate that the midfielder was dizzy and wanted to vomit so Zidane decided to take him off and introduce Mateo Kovacic in the midfield.

Real Madrid are yet to announce Isco’s contract extension even though it seems that a deal has been agreed between both parts. The Spanish midfielder has been wanting to have a relevant role and it seems that he will be able to be that kind of player this season, at least until Gareth Bale starts being a key contributor again.

Isco is an undisputed starter for Real Madrid right now and that’s all he wanted, so his contract extension should be confirmed very soon, perhaps even during this FIFA break which will last until September 9th, when Real Madrid host Levante at the Bernabeu.
