Reports from Spain suggest that Real Madrid and Barcelona will be battling for the signing of both Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele this summer. Apparently, Madrid would like to sign Dembele and then make him spend one year on a loan deal with Dortmund, while Barça want him to replace Neymar right now.

L’Equipe also reports that Barcelona have entered the race for Mbappe. Marca published last week that Los Blancos had an agreement in place for the young striker but it’s clear that Barcelona will have to use the €222 million they got for Neymar and it appears that they would be willing to give Mbappe a try, although the local media say that they will go after Coutinho instead.

Either way, it’s going to be a long month of August for the fans of both teams as it appears that neither roster will be set until the very end of the transfer market.
