Real Madrid just published their starting lineup for the upcoming UEFA Supercup Final against Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.

Real Madrid Starting XI: Navas; Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo; Modrić, Casemiro, Kroos; Isco, Benzema, Bale.

Manchester United Starting XI: De Gea; Valencia, Lindelof, Smalling, Darmian; Ander Herrera, Matic, Pogba; Mkhitaryan, Lukaku and Lingard.

It’s clear that Zidane wants to avoid surprises and he has decided to go with his best available lineup. While last year he gave Marco Asensio a shocking start, young players like Theo Hernandez or Ceballos will have to wait for their chance on the bench.

Remember that Madrid will also face Barcelona next Sunday, meaning that it will be very important for Zidane to keep the legs of his players as fresh as possible.

Expect United coach Jose Mourinho to sit back and wait for counterattacking chances with Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian attacker will try to be physical against Varane and Ramos.
