Real Madrid host APOEL trying to bounce back from the disappointing home draws against Valencia and Levante. Los Blancos will be defending their last two Champions League titles and they must earn a convincing win if they want to gain some momentum.

Cristiano Ronaldo will be back in the starting XI as he is only suspended in the Spanish competitions, while Marco Asensio wasn’t included in the team’s list. All things considered, Zidane might deploy a 4-3-3 formation with Isco on the left, Bale on the right wing and Cristiano Ronaldo commanding the offensive line.

Casemiro, Modric, Varane and Keylor Navas are also expected to make their return to the starting lineup after resting last Sunday. Expect Madrid to come out firing on all cylinders and taking advantage of Ronaldo’s firepower. The team will surely create chances and they will need to convert them in order to regain some confidence which could be useful against Real Sociedad.

Real Madrid predicted XI: Keylor Navas, Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo, Casemiro, Kroos, Modric, Isco, Bale, Ronaldo.

APOEL predicted XI: Waterman, Milanov, Rueda, Carlao, Lago, Vinicius, Morais, Ebecilio, Oar, Alonefitis, Camargo.

Prediction: Real Madrid 3 (Ronaldo x2, Ramos) - 0 APOEL
