Real Madrid just announced that Isco has signed a contract extension with the club which will keep him in the Spanish capital until the summer of 2022.

Real Madrid C. F. and Isco have agreed to extend the player's contract, which will see him remain at the club until the 30th June 2022. Tomorrow, Friday, at 2pm, Isco will appear before the media in the press room of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

Florentino Perez confirmed the deal in an interview with Cadena SER a few days ago. Isco’s previous deal was set to expire in 2018, meaning that he could sign a new contract with any given club in January. This is massive news for Real Madrid considering how well Isco has been performing lately. He’s still 25 years old and has a bright future ahead of him, so he will be with Real Madrid during his prime. It will be interesting to see if he stays in the starting lineup once every player is healthy and available.
