Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos will not be available in the away match against Real Sociedad. The German player couldn’t complete Saturday’s training session and will have to miss the crucial clash.

To make things worse for Los Blancos, Mateo Kovacic is also injured. This means that Zinedine Zidane will either have to play Isco in the midfielder with Vazquez, Asensio and Bale upfront or trust the inexperienced and young Dani Ceballos in Kroos’ spot. Zidane could also start both Llorente and Casemiro if he gives the Brazilian midfielder more freedom to operate, but that could be problematic as Los Blancos might not be able to create many chances if that’s what Zidane decides to do.

Zinedine Zidane will most likely address Kroos’ condition in today’s press conference, so stay tuned to know what’s wrong with the German compass, who should be available next Wednesday against Real Betis at the Bernabeu, though.
