Zinedine Zidane spoke to the press ahead of Real Madrid’s away game against Real Sociedad. It turns out that Los Blancos will be without Toni Kroos, Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo, Karim Benzema and Jesus Vallejo in this game, so this will be a good opportunity for the reserves to prove that Real have not actually lost any depth this summer.

"I know how we're going to set up tomorrow. These things happens and injuries are inevitable. We'll put out a very strong side tomorrow and the players who make the bench will also have an important role to play. I'm interested in having a strong group available for tomorrow's game,” said the coach.

He also explained what’s wrong with Kroos and Vallejo, who appeared to be healthy.

"We won't be able to call on Kroos or Vallejo, who are both suffering with niggles. We shalln't be taking any risks with them. They're not major injuries. With Mateo currently sidelined we don't want the same thing to happen to anybody else. Ceballos felt some discomfort the day before yesterday, but he's trained as usual today and he'll be available,” he added.
