Asensio is back but Real might not have as deep of a squad as some thought.

Real Madrid are in trouble. No Ronaldo, Marcelo, Kroos or Benzema against a team carrying good momentum like Real Sociedad. It’s true that Marco Asensio is back, but Los Blancos still have to trust their reserves if they want to earn the three points after two straight draws at home against Valencia and Levante.

REAL MADRID’S SQUAD LIST:

Goalkeepers: Keylor Navas, Casilla and Luca.

Defenders: Carvajal, Nacho, Theo, Ramos, Varane, Achraf.

Midfielders: Casemiro, Isco, Ceballos, Modric, Llorente, Asensio, Franchu.

Attackers: Bale, Lucas Vázquez, Mayoral.

Zidane is expected to start Isco in the midfield with Vazquez, Asensio and Bale upfront, although Dani Ceballos could also be in the starting lineup if Zidane decides to keep playing with the 4-3-1-2 formation that has brought him success lately.

It will be important for Madrid to control the tempo of the game and Ceballos is the player who could do just that if he plays with composure.
